It has made a huge difference in my own life. From mitigating migraines, to freeing up stiff and achey joints, to enhanced strength, joy and freedom on the dance floor. I’ve always been a mover -weight training, dance, yoga, swimming, pilates-… but there is nothing quite like the GYROTONIC® Expansion System with the way that it moves the body in circles, spirals and undulations. It is yummy and useful for many healing and fitness objectives.

Within the methodology is awareness and practice of conscious breathing and moving subtle energy. And depending on your intention, the subtle energy aspect can be more or less focused upon. Personally, it's one of the reasons I'm drawn to the modality as I love working with the energy body. And, as our bodies are frequencies of different rhythms, Gyrotonic also has a strong focus on rhythm and musicality, which makes it so playful, fun and enjoyable to do!

There are also assorted exercise balls, a rebounder, a full size trampoline in the backyard, a small dance floor and lots of other props for all body types, abilities, and holistic fitness goals.

Watch these short videos for a taste of the myriad possibilities for YOUR body...(keep in mind that most of the 'models' are working in full extension. But for most of us (the non-athletes), the movements can be smaller and adapted appropriately.
